May absolutely flew by as we got back from the charity hike and the market was buzzing with activity that I totally lost time to get our May Newsletter sent out. I hope you accept my apologies and thank you for being one of our newsletter recipients.
I also couldn't write another newsletter talking about hot frustrating the weather has been and thankfully that has all changed over the last couple weeks of May! Entering June we have seen lots of nice weather that includes lots of sunshine! As always May 24 weekend seems to be the start of tourism around Grand Bend and this year was not different with an absolutely gorgeous May 24 weekend of weather. The nice weather brough a lot of people to town opening their cottages for the summer or coming to Grand Bend to be a part of the fun. I absolutely love this time of year as golf courses open up, businesses open up, cottages open up, people come out of their homes to walk outside, people come out to enjoy the beach and maybe most important of this year: the Grand Bend bridge fully opening up before July 1 fingers crossed!
We have lots of great listings available from cottages for $400k to gorgeous year round homes around the million mark and stunning lakefront cottages all the way up $3 million. We have a little something for everyone and there is still time to get into that perfect place to enjoy this summer!

Phase 1 Of
The CMN Bruce Trail Hike
2026 Complete!
It was another incredible hike on the Bruce Trail with Mom, Jeannette, and other special guests that joined us on the trail. It was a colder phase then what we have dealt with in the past but we didn't let that get in our way of pushing forward to still do over 100KMS in 4.5 days and have 96KM left to go in the fall to complete the whole Bruce Trail. We started this year just north of Owen Sound and managed to get all the way to the outskirts of Lions Head Provincial Park. We walked a gorgeous section of the Bruce Trail this spring that covered Jones Bluff, Skinners Bluff, running into a black bear, a porcupine, lots of Georgian Bay views and so much more!
More importantly we are so grateful for all the donations that have poured in making us feel like our dreamy goal of $31,111 in support of The Children's Health Foundation can be a reality! We have now raised $21,733 in our road to $31,111 that will run until after the second and final phase in October. Thank you to everyone that donated, commented or shared our story!
September 29 - October 3 the fun begins again in our mission to complete the Bruce Trail in support of The Children's Health Foundation!

Grand Bend Summer Sunset Concert Series Begins July 9th!
We are so excited to be the presenting sponsor again this year of an incredible community event offering NINE FREE SHOWS of great musical talent for everyone to enjoy! The concert series is changing things up a little bit this year by moving from a Sunday evening to Thursday evening. The goal of this concert series was always to promote tourism during a time that less people were in the area. As tourism has picked up over the years it has become evident that Sundays don't need any help bringing people to the beach and to the town. Thursday concerts are a great way to get the weekend started early with some free entertainment that will have you dancing away as you enjoy our world famous sunsets on Lake Huron.
